Inspired by minimalist masters Carmen Herrera and Barnett Newman, Graça has found peace in abstract work that demands both precision and surrender—particularly in watercolor, which she describes as having "a life of its own."

“My painting is part of a broader practice that includes working with paper, fabric, journaling, drawing, photography, music, and psychology. Taking photos with my iPhone is a daily practice, fulfilling my need to continuously explore how to live, and uncover what is important to me. My geometric paintings reflect my need for order, shape, space, symmetry, light, stillness, and most importantly, they express my love for color.”
